Membership and Members' Benefits

The Society has a worldwide membership of around 600, which comprises professional and lay musicians alike as well as a majority of those simply interested in music.

Members receive the annual journal (British Music) and a quarterly newsletter (News). The latter contains reviews, brief articles and notices of forthcoming concerts and events; and it also provides a forum for members' ideas, opinions and recommendations.

Additionally, members enjoy discounts on most of the Society's own recordings and publications, as well as other special offers.

Membership Enquiries  All enquiries about Society membership should be made to the Treasurer Stephen Trowell: sct.bms1943@eldy.org; britishmusicsociety@gmail.com from whom a free, introductory Membership Pack is available.
